Dongchuan Mo
Research interest: phase-change heat transfer and precise temperature control
Biography:
Dr. Mo has worked long-time in phase-change heat transfer and precise temperature control, and has developed many heat transfer devices/systems such as mechanical pumped two-phase thermal control loop, loop heat pipe, vapor chamber and so on. He joined the AMS-02 in 2004, and he carried out thermal simulation and optimization on the Tracker Thermal Control System (TTCS). He was also involved in the Upgraded Tracker Thermal Pump System (UTTPS) since 2015, and was responsible for the thermal simulation and component optimization.
"Precision Thermal Control System for Large-scale Space Experiments Based on an Active Two-Phase Fluid Loop" won the second prize of Science and Technology of Guangdong province (2016).
