As member of the Science Committee of the Pacific Center for Thermal-Fluids Engineering and the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, Professor Guo is expertised in energy engineering, thermal fluid engineering, LNG and cryogenic technology and LNG safety.
With his rich experience, Professor Guo has joined and played a leading role in many important projects such as “Research on High-Efficiency Compression-Absorption Heat Pump” and “Research on New High-Efficiency Cold Storage Medium and Technology” of the China National Natural Science Foundation, “Basic Research on High-Efficiency Absorption System” of the Special Foundation of the President of the Chinese Sciences Academy, as well as international cooperation project “Development of Thermal Control System of AMS Trace Detector”.
"Precision Thermal Control System for Large-scale Space Experiments Based on an Active Two-Phase Fluid Loop" won the second prize of Science and Technology of Guangdong province (2016).
